- April 18, 2005 - Assessment Leaders announces a licensing agreement
with Emerge International to market their flagship product the
Cultural
Health Indicator™ [CHI], a top-rated, customized,
Internet based tool to assess and diagnose a company's culture.
The CHI provides organizations with a clear picture of those cultural
elements that are either supporting or hampering their ability
to achieve strategic business goals.
Emerge International,
headquartered in Arizona, developed the tool in 1998 by two partners
with executive HR and OD backgrounds who saw a need for a systemic
approach to integrating human systems and business systems. The
CHI is a user-friendly, systematic process that can be administered
via the Internet or by paper and pencil and takes approximately
25 minutes to complete. Employees respond to approximately 89
statements in areas such as leadership, relationships, communications,
infrastructure, decision making, innovation, and financial health
and 3 open-ended questions. Companies may customize the survey
to include additional quantitative and qualitative questions,
in multiple languages. Many companies have implemented the CHI
with great success. A few well-known ones are American Express,
CR Bard, Mayo Clinic, NCCI, Solae and Yahoo!.
